A licensed furnace technician performs a safety check on the furnace and hot water heater for carbon monoxide, gas leaks and clogged flue pipes or chimneys. REPAIRS: If possible, all defects discovered are repaired by a qualified furnace technician or repaired by a qualified furnace technician or heating sub-contractor. In some cases, the furnace may be replaced with a more efficient model.
