ERC Is Participating In Indy Give! 2014

Indy Give 2014

Indy Give! kicked off November 1 and the Energy Resource Center is part of the great community giving event this year! Donate between November 1 and December 20 to make an extra big impact.

What is Indy Give?

It’s a fantastic event created by the Colorado Springs Independent in partnership with the Pikes Peak Community Foundation to fundraise for small local nonprofits. Indy Give! provides a great platform for organizations like the ERC to campaign from while creating synergy with other local nonprofits.

Why donate through Give! instead of directly?

All of the nonprofits participating in Indy Give! have worked hard to get big matching grants from regular supporters. When you donate to us through Indy Give!, you’re helping us earn those additional grants.

We can earn additional grants and awards from Indy Give! based on how many supporters we have and how much we raise from our fans.

How can you Give! to ERC

You can click right here and make a donation. You can also visit the Indy Give! website and select the Energy Resource Center to make a donation that way.

Is there anything special happening during Indy Give!?

So glad you asked. There are tons of fabulous events throughout November and December for Indy Give! It starts with the four-mile run/walk – Give! 4 The Community – at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at Venetucci Farm.  That same night, you can hit up the Masquerade Carnival starting at 7 p.m. at The Pinery At the Hill. Tickets are $35.

Of course, there will be several other events throughout the months of November and December. Keep your eyes on our Facebook page for announcements.

What is ERC doing for Indy Give!?

What’s better than Happy Hour? Progressive Happy Hour. The Energy Resource Center has teamed up with some of our neighboring nonprofits to offer a fun and festive way to Give! from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 12.

One passport gets you free food and drink at four locations, including the ERC. A suggested donation of $25 is welcome and more is, of course, greatly appreciated. You’ll enjoy good eats and libations while supporting 12 nonprofits, including those along the Progressive Happy Hour route.
